This is a small hotel offering modern, comfortable rooms in this small Indonesian city of Kendari. Most travelers overnight here on the way to catch the ferry to the Togian Islands.
The Plaza Inn has small rooms, but they were pleasant, air-conditioned, had cable TV and hot showers.
The lobby downstairs doubles as the restaurant serving, of all things, Mexican food. We were quite happy with our nasi goreng. Staff are friendly and chatty, as they do not get many foreign guests here.
The hotel is around the corner from the travel agents and will book ferry and flight tickets for you.
